Case 1: EmieBrowserModeList shows up targeting browsers.
Many victims complain that their computers appear to be infected with EmieBrowserModeList. One victim said that his computer bogs down several times a day especially when Google Chrome is open after EmieBrowserModeList happens. Another victim's IE has been attacked by EmieBrowserModeList. As soon as he realized the problem, he removed things related to EmieBrowserModeList and checked for a coupple of days and found no sign of them. Just as he thought everything was resolved, he found it again in the same location.
