She is the victim of Bright Browse. She was trying to download a YouTobe video to show it offline for a presentation. She was so regret being an idiot and installed an application but came with something called Bright Browse which appears to be crapware. It refuses to be removed through normal means. On Firefox, it's installed as a Firefox add-on as a toolbar that can't be disabled. Just because of this toolbar, Bright Browse shows up on her browser and modifies her search engine and homepage. She can't get rid of it via deleting the toolbar or resetting the browser.
