Remove FastHeal.net Scam - Get Rid of FastHeal

Complains from computer users:

I just received a phone call from "tech support" and the guy told me that my computer was sending out error messages and that I needed to immediately follow his directions. I asked repeatedly who he was with and he said "Windows" and started yelling. I was to go to the run command and type in 'iexplore www.fastheal.net'. Very abusive and certainly not trustworthy. I just wrote down the command he wanted me to run. He yelled that I was just wasting his time. I hung up on him. I, instead, looked up the web address and they are wanting you to install a bit of software that will infect your system and then demand money to fix it. Just beware. I found that this scam has been going on for a few years.

FastHeal.net scam is performed by telephone where the caller claims to calling from Microsoft and tells you that your compter is sending out error messages to them and they are calling to help you fix the problem. To do this the caller will get you to visit the FastHeal website, I am sure that there are others using different sites that are using the same technique, and then ask you to click on a link.

FastHeal.net performs fake scans of the hard disk and then report multiple non-existent threats. To remove the threats, FastHeal.net tells the user to call the number and connect with the fake tech support. The salesman asks the users to purchase a license for the software or service. Of course the software and any support packages offered by FastHeal.net are bogus and will offer no help whatsoever in cleaning up the problem or protecting against any other threats. It is suggested to remove FastHeal.net  from the computer as soon as possible to avoid further damage. It is better to scan your computer with a powerful anti-spyware program like Spyhunter to check out the problem and remove viruses.
